wiikey2 w/ wiiclip problem

I've installed my wiikey2 w/ wii-clip and some backups don't work. I would say closer to %40 of the old backups don't work.

I have 2 systems, the other one i have has a d2pro w/ wii-clip and all backups work. no problems, ever.

but I just can't figure out why some do and some don't with this wiikey2 ? is this the cheap one or something? i'm using the latest v 1.2 ...

any ideas here? i'm all out...
