any ideas as to what caused it?
is your battery a pandora battery or do you own one?
do you have a magic memory stick with multi boot ipl injected?
does the back light still work?
any sound playing as if it enters the xmb (desktop)?

it may not be a brick their are several things that it could be so their are a few ways it could be fixed but you haven't said much about what your problem really is.

I second on Shaggy, I have seen slims brick from falling 2' onto hardwood floors(my first daxter PSp, 2 weeks old.) The most common reasons I see for PSP's bricking though are user error, like shorting the board while attempt to mod or replace parts, or goofing while updating their PSP's. A little info could help more.
