Digivox XL Scarmbled Channels Help?

I flashed a friends Digivox XL yesterday with the latest firmare. Had it it working fine at mine yesterday, but they've taken it home tonight and all the channels are coming up scrambled/bad channel. Had them doing autoscan, the channels keep coming in as numbers. Also in the Nagravision box all the fields have F's in? I haven't seen the box yet just had this info relayed over the phone, confident I can get it working at mine again when I get it back but was wondering how to get round this problem if it happens again.

go back into CAS menu
Go to set default key > press ok
This will get rid of the fff`s
Also make sure the emu is on.

Thanks. Is this a common thing that might happen when moving a box? Thought I'd replicated the same settings that I have on mine, emu on etc.

It happens sometimes, also the emu can turn off every now & then.
The above usually sorts it everytime.

funny never heard of emu turning off on digivox,starviews yes,sometimes better to scan in new location and switch emu on.sometimes when scanning if u see numbers instead of names just exit,factory reset,delete,power off at back/on scan and emu to on.
ant time factory reset is done u need to switch emu to on.

Thanks. I read about the Factory reset on another thread to resolve the channel names. So I take it that the firmware stays as the latest Flash even after the Factory reset? The factory reset is just the user settings?

factory reset deletes channel info only,to remove firmware u need to flash it with upgrade,and set default key clears key data.

do i used downloader10 on a black digivox xl with v1250 f/w have i got everything i need to flash this box
