1. I went to the recovery menu and ran the eboot, game up with "the game could not be started. (8002013C)"
2. Searched on google no results
3. Searched on Afterdawn forums no results
4. I have another thread like this in the other section but no one will help me
5. I am going to throw my psp on the floor if someone doesn't help me soon. I'm getting so pissed off.

Can you tell me how to do this? As far as a I know you can only update to 3.71 M33 through 1.5, but if I can downgrade from 5.00 M33-6 to 3.71 M33 please give me instructions and download links so I can do it.

first thing first is youll need to make a pandoras battery and a magic memery stick this guide should help you make a pandoras battery and a magic memory stick with your own battery. Hope this helps you get to 3.9 and tell me how it goes.

Which update? The 150.PBP?

IS there ANY other way to go back to 1.5 without pandora battery? I can't use the command prompt to create the MMS, and the pandora battery eboot won't run. Comes up with the same error (8002013C)

I've never done it before, so I don't know much about what's supposed to be in there. I assume the eboot. There's got to be somewhere on the forums or google that explains how to use the recovery feature, though I'd guess that it would be the eboot. You might need the 150.pbp file in your folder though for it to update as well, but that wouldn't explain the program not running.

I'm trying this "Easy Downgrader" from 3.71 M33 to 1.5 without pandora, although I've tried this before and put the RECOVERY folderi the ms0/PSP/GAME folder and it came up with the SAME SAME SAME error (8002013C) its so annoying.

It was to my knowledge that all you needed to do was put the update files into that folder and run it through the recovery... but like I said, I wouldn't know. It's possible that your homebrew folder is set to something besides root/psp/game. There should be an option to switch it from the normal game folder to a different one in the recovery menu. If it's set to something beside game, switch it back to game and try running that update through the recovery menu again.

I see the "GAME380" and "GAME150" folders in the ms0/PSP directory, are those the homebrew folders?

Your version should have GAME5XX or something similar. Is that what your recovery menu options said or what you saw in the PSP folder?

My recovery options were "Game folder homebrew (currently: 1.50 Kernel)" and the other was 5.XX kernel, but I switched it to 1.50 cause I want to go back to 1.5 =/

Oh, actually, I think that option is for homebrew that was 1.5 ver specific or something, so it shouldn't make a difference either...

Well damn, you've really stumped me. The only time I get that kind of error is when A.) Something is wrong with the eboot, B.) The homebrew is in the wrong folder, or C.) The PSP can't actually run homebrew games.

I suggest you try another update I guess, preferably from a different source. I'd try a custom firmware version so that if anything goes wrong, you can re-upgrade or downgrade further or whatever, just as a precaution.

This is a little desperate, but you're SURE the update is root/psp/game/update/eboot.pbp?

Alright I put the EBOOT in the UPDATE forder and when I went to the game memory stick option on my psp I saw "PSP(TM) Update ver 1.50" and i ran it and it said "The system software of your PSP system is version 5.00. There is no need to update."

-_- AND it ran the recovery and it came up with the error (8002013C) for about the 20th time.

Have i seriously ran out of options? Are you sure I can't reformat my memory stick?

Ah, you might be in luck. I just read that the recovery option was for semi-bricked PSPs, but I think Despertar del Cementerio is for downgrading. http://www.dark-alex.org/, the link is right there on the front page. I don't know how to use it, but I'm sure there's a guide somewhere. I suggest you learn what it does before you actually use it though.

Your PSP isn't semi-bricked, right?

I don't know. You'll have to look around to figure out how to work it. If that doesn't work, there must be other downgraders for custom firmware. I've heard something about a program called Time Machine by Dark alex that might do that, but I'm not quite sure what that does either.

Otherwise, I can't really help you. Sorry. :/

Also, what's so wrong with 5.00m33 that you want to downgrade to OFW?

All my game saves that i had from 3.90 m33 don't work, I even tried downloading new ones and they don't work, I hate the new XMB theme, GTA cheat device doesn't work, and can't go back to 1.5 if I choose to, if you were in my position you would know.

You're a moron. This is a help forum, people are allowed to ask questions, and no where in this thread are slims even mentioned besides what you just said. Also, it's only whining if you complain, not if you ask for help.

You're an ass, and you're stupid, so stop acting like you're smarter than anyone. I suggest you ask an adult for permission to speak from now on. Can't have stupid people teaching other people how to be stupid, you know.

Wow, there's a lot of people upgrading to 5.00m33 straight from 3.90m33.

In that case, why don't you just downgrade back to 3.90m33 instead of all the way back to 1.5?
