I don't know. You'll have to look around to figure out how to work it. If that doesn't work, there must be other downgraders for custom firmware. I've heard something about a program called Time Machine by Dark alex that might do that, but I'm not quite sure what that does either.

Otherwise, I can't really help you. Sorry. :/

Also, what's so wrong with 5.00m33 that you want to downgrade to OFW?
All my game saves that i had from 3.90 m33 don't work, I even tried downloading new ones and they don't work, I hate the new XMB theme, GTA cheat device doesn't work, and can't go back to 1.5 if I choose to, if you were in my position you would know.

Wow, there's a lot of people upgrading to 5.00m33 straight from 3.90m33.

In that case, why don't you just downgrade back to 3.90m33 instead of all the way back to 1.5?
It doesn't work that way, I wish it did, but it doesn't. You have to go back to 1.5 before installing any other custom firmware. If you try to install it from 5.00 it will tell you "There is no need to update."

I still can't believe I can't go back to 1.5 even though custom firmware is made to be able to go back to 1.5, this is so ridiculous...

DCP_PSP
Yup, I still have a fat PSP
PSP life: 1.00 > 1.50 > 2.00 > 2.50 > 2.60 > 2.71 > 2.81 >> 1.50 > 3.03 OE-C > 3.52 M33-3 > 3.90 M33-3 > 5.00 M33-6 - Trying to go back to 3.90 M33-3 but no one will help me :(

By the way my PSP is BRICKED if any nice person wants to help revive my psp please message me or answer one of my threads.

The idea is to not make a pandora's battery, cee43ja1.

Still, it wouldn't be that hard. Just make the pandora's battery and mms, but look up how to keep from losing your battery. There's a way to get it back. I think you'll need to use your power cord to turn the psp on though... I'm not sure. Read up well before doing it.

you risk bricking your psp doing an inproper recovery. so why risk it when you can make pandora's battery easily?

30 posts and it took a newbie to point out hellcat's recover flasher.

its used to upgrade or downgrade custom firmware and to recover semi-bricked psps and may help get the job done for this problem

you can download it here http://dl.qj.net/Recovery-Flasher-v1.40-...24420/catid/151

...btw timemachine only switches between firmwares its not a permanent solution. i don't really see the point in going all the way back down to 1.50 though given its not an easy task and you won't be able to play any of the new psp games or homebrew that and dark alex has made the 1.50 addon so you could use the old homebrews that no longer worked and needed firmware 1.50, if 5.00 m33-6 is giving you problems you should just go back to a more stable firmware for you like 3.90+ and get the addons from dark-alex if you want the even older homebrews

pandora battery and magic memory stick is always usefull in these cases too since you can make a magic memory stick with multiple firmwares you want to flash too without having to get to 1.50 ofw and the same with hellcats though i'm not sure if it can do all firmwares or is limited to only a few cfws.

in any case i don't see any problems with the latest firmware and everything works for me plus the latest homebrews plugins and themes are far better then the earlier ones

You're a moron. This is a help forum, people are allowed to ask questions, and no where in this thread are slims even mentioned besides what you just said. Also, it's only whining if you complain, not if you ask for help.

You're an ass, and you're stupid, so stop acting like you're smarter than anyone. I suggest you ask an adult for permission to speak from now on. Can't have stupid people teaching other people how to be stupid, you know.

If you can't post anything helpful then here's a novel concept - don't post.
