1. Can you burn Wii, PS2, and PS3 games using any dvd-ROM writer?
2. Will I have to buy two different writers because certain writers can only read certain discs?
3. Can you buy any brand of DVD-Rs or do you have to buy the expensive brands to make them work properly because I bought Corner Office 25pk of DVD-Rs and was wondering if they'll work.

Not the burning software like Imgburn or Nero but the writer like LG, Wiidumper, and Sony.

1) Wii and ps2 games can burned them with any DVD burner. A DVD-ROM drive cant burn anything though as it is only a reader, you need a burner.

And ps3 games would require a bluray burner (which last time I checked costs around $400) a blank bluray disk (about $10) and some way to mod the ps3 to play a burned game (which does not currently exist)... So good luck with that.

2) I'm not sure what you mean. Any burner works. Only a handful of LG drives can read wii games, but anything can burn them.

3) You can try any brand you want, but I can tell you that you're likely to get mostly coasters with something like Corner Office. Verbatum DVD-R is arguably the best brand of DVD to use.

4) Wiidumper isnt a drive, its a program...

Just don't forget to burn at 2x speed and you can get DVD+Rs you just need to change the book type to DVD-ROM
