Are you in the UK, if so then if you are getting ITV 3 - just do a manual scan on that frequency because it should be broadcast on the same frequency, try it.

Check the Frequeqency on ITV3 by pressing the info button twice and noting it down (for instance I am in North West and they are both on 347.00 ITV 2 & 3) then press Menu and go to Installation and down to User Installation OK and enter pin 0000, highlight the frequency required then press OK and a tick will appear at the left hand side, now press Blue Button and it will scan on that one Frequency (Screen will go blank, then it will return and show you what it has found, that's it job done and if you have the Auto Sort firmware on then it will also do that for you.

No luck here with that tried it on 1st box, just comes up blank, tried it on the 2nd box downstairs again blank. Tried a spare channel which was Monty Python film using the frequency but just went back to the Monty Python film. The frequency that was on itv2 was 730.00, itv3 was 690.00. Dont know what i have done with box downstairs as instead of ITV2 channel it is now come up TVCH7 but still blank.
Also how do i have the ''auto sort on''?

Flash your EV with this >> http://www.4shared.com/file/74706485/28a...l?cau2=403tNull

Once done do a factory default and power-scan, once you have all your channels with this autosort firmware they will be displayed/sorted in a category order by pressing the FAV button on your remote i.e sport/Music/Popular/Kids etc. As I said in another thread once you get used to this you will have no problems with having to sort your channels out yourself.

As HiTeck has posted, use the Auto-sort function, so if you use that then you will be fine.

Is it the Eurovox Max V 2008 (Black) model, if it is then as Hiteck has said if you flash with the Auto-Sort Firmware this one >>>

For Eurovox Max V only
http://www.4shared.com/file/77830933/889...rified=2c52267f

And do a factory Default and powerscan on your correct symbol rate then it will bring it back and you will get used to the Auto=Sort function which is very good. And to answer your question as to can you get it back manually, then yes you can as long as you know the correct Frequency and follow the instructions posted earlier. Just make sure that you have the Max V and not the EX 1000 model okay.

Got the box at the tail end of 2007 think around Nov, but as already stated downloaded all the new stuff when it all went down before Xmas, and before that in April 08.

If it say's Max V on the front of box then it is a max V, and it needs to be updated with the latest firmware as posted okay, if you have not flashed your box since then - you need to do it now okay, and it will auto-roll and auto-sort the categories for you.

Lisboa67 - Only if you want the Auto-Sort feature on your box, if you are satisfied with what you have on then no you don't need to. but you said that you did not want to sort out your channel listing manually in categories after a Factory Default and Powerscan, now if you don't want to do that then you need to use the Firmware HiTeck and Myself has linked for you.

I am satified the way i have my channels in order, but i still want the itv2 channel, so how do i get it back, i am getting really confused?
I did not get it back after your advise earlier i checked the frequency of itv3 etc etc. But am still none the wiser, do i have to flash my box again? Losing all my order of channels? Can i not just retune and get my itv2 back? Or DO I HAVE TO FLASH MY BOX TO GET ITV2 BACK? Is that the link i have to use that HiTec sent me, is this to flash my box or what?

As I have said up above yes you can, but you need to know the correct Frequency and I am only telling you how it is broadcast in the N/West, so it is no use you getting confused, as I do not know what Frequency it is broadcast on in your area Oxford. What I and Hiteck previously suggested is that you do a factory default and powerscan, but have you simply tried an update all channels, this sometimes pulls lost channels back in, Menu and acroos to Installation, choose User Installation OK, enter 0000 and press the RED button Update Channels, and see if that gets it back for you.

EDIT:- And yes both of those links are for the Eurovox Max V with the Auto-Sort feature, if you do decide to re-flash your box, then use that Firmware and it will Auto sort the categories for you.
