Hello everybody.
I'm new to the whole 360 scene,and I can see that it is nothing like the PS2 stuff lol,far too more complicated.So I have some questions,could you help me please?
So,I'm thinking of buying this XBOX360.Brand new,with xtreme firmware 1.5, good price. Now,it does sounds tempting,as I live in a country where games cost close to 100$ each, and to me, a student living alone counting his money everyday, that is a lot.I probably shouldn't be even thinking about buying it,but happy times came along,and that sexy Skate 2 too.Backups would probably be the way for me.
The problem is,what to do?I have guides who tell me a have to have a certain drive so i can get the SS files.But since i don't have many friends with a xbox that's irrelevant for me.I'm looking towards getting them online. If I 'collect' a game online,maybe from a 'seeder' somewhere, how should I proceed?I now i have to have a verbatim DVD+DL at hand, but how about the ss files?Will they come with the 'fruit'?
And do i have to constantly be updating my firmware?
I know that my drive can burn DL discs,but not ROM,does that matter?
Please brief me in as I lack the knowledge.
