But since I'm bored I'll tell you that firmware level dosent matter, its chipset that matters. Find out what chipset you have here http://www.wiidrives.com/list

WiiKey 2 is the most compatiable chip out right now but if you cant solder you can buy the drive key for wii which is made by the same makers as wiikey
