partially yes, you will also need a magic memory stick but it advertises it works on psp 3000 which isn't true, it made put it into service mode but it can't get past the security yet so there isn't a magic memory stick for 3000

k, i was just saying that their battery false advertised and their was something about them being sued for it, plus they released it too early and expected hacker to have cracked the psp 3000 by now, the link i posted above is what you need though you could make the pandora battery and magic memory stick yourself if you have the time and are willing to learn by reading the guides here at afterdawn

ok cuz i got a memory card i just need a battery. is that the battery that you bought cuz i dont really trust the internet completely with ordering things cuz i have had some bad expierences with internet buying

yea i bought my first pandora battery their though now its easy enough to make them but several others here have used that site as well so they are trust worthy

if you have windows xp you should looking into pandora deluxe v 3.0 i find it to be the best magic memory stick makers

thanks. i have been trying to figure out if this madden psp i have is able to put a cfw on it. i have other people but they keep redirecting me to a guide to tell but every guide they send me too u have to have a psp with a cfw on it. i don't have one with a cfw.

yea that is the cheapest way to make your own pandora battery like i do now but it requires a modded phat psp or the early psp slims could do it but now they can't so you won't beable to make a pandora battery even when you get cfw on it but you probably won't need anymore after you buy this one anyway.

but i got started the same way as you, on afterdawn asking questions and buying my first pandora battery and mms; then i modded everyone of my friends psps and used theirs to make more pandora batterys for them and myself and started getting into all the homebrew, plugins and tools.

well i am just gonna buy a pandora battery. but i have heard that the blue madden psp can be hacked because they got the ta-088 v3. but i dont know if mine does. i got it like 1 week after it came out. no one is able to tell me it is able to be hacked.

because its farely hard to tell without trying to mod it and seeing what happens or trying the tool that dark alex made to idenfiy if its ta-088v3 or not, read here to see what i mean http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/709168
though i think you may have gotten yours early enough to be safe

yeah i am sure that it came with a firmware lower than 4.xx. i guess i will just try it and if it bricks cant the pandora battery fix it.

yea also i use hellcat's recovery flasher to help prevent bricks as well for the most part anything you do or end up doing later on will only result in a semi-brick which the pandora battery can fix

like i said best way to prevent bricks is when on cfw install the homebrew hellcat's recover flasher so that you can reapir it if the semi brick allows you to get to the recovery menu before entering the xmb and if that doesn't work then in almost all cases you can use a pandora battery and magic memory stick
