Ok heres the deal:

I currently have a PSP Phat that is bricked which I'm trying to remedy. I recently stumbled upon a PSP2000 (SLIM) which has 21 hours left on it for bidding on eBay at $13.50 right now.

I know that the Phat seems to be easier to hack and I was trying to figure out how much of a pain the ass the Slims are to hack, I also know they're a bit more flimsy (Easier to break the screen and whatnot)

Also, can you salvage parts from a Phat PSP and use them on a Slim? I figured if I got this Slim I could just use the Phat for spare parts if the need arose.

The phat and a slim are different on the inside. So you can not swap parts.

Just try to unbrick your phat with a Pandora and a Magic Memory Stick.

I suggest buying the slim, that's a really good price, if the shipping isn't some massive scam. Slim are about the same process of modding you just have to make sure it does not have the TA088v3 motherboard
