According to PG.biz, Apple is set to add a "premium games section" to the App Store which will offer games for the iPhone and the iPod Touch for about $19.99 USD. The section will be open to a restricted number of large publishers such as Electronics Arts, and would set the iPhone apart in the smartphone market as a "serious gaming" handheld. Good ole Apple. Never miss a chance to MILK the people who support them! Don't think too many people will be laying out $19.95 for games to play on their Itouch or Iphone. I certainly won't.

Exactly. There's no point in this. Apple wants more than their fair share of revenue, and people will buy into this scheme because its Apple, and that's what's popular. But you won't see me eating of their share at all, especially when you see your monthly bill from all those premium games!
