Not able to get wii Backup ISOs to work

I've installed:
HBC
WAD Manager 1.3
BackupChannel.wad
CIOS36_rev5-64-v1042.wad
downgraded from 3.3u to 3.2u
DVDx (advance install - ios249)

At this point, I can play DVD movies and DVD iso roms (snes/sega) but I'm not able to to get a backup wii iso to read. I've tried burning with and with out the backup-creator process. I'm using Verbatim DVD-Rs with ImgBurn at 2x.

I've done a lot of researching before deciding to post here, but just not sure what I am doing wrong or missing. If someone could point me in the right direction, that would be great.

I appreciate any help I can get. I'm hoping that maybe I just need a latest version of a file or something. Here are some links I've found that I thought were either pretty good guides or usefull source of information.

What version of the boot loader are you running?

If it is Beta you need to use cIOS36 rev6 or cIOS36 rev7. If your using Gamma you need to use cIOS36 rev7.

Your best bet is to uninstall the BackupChannel.wad/cIOS36 rev5/DVDx from the Wii system (it is important you uninstall these so it doesn't conflict with the latest installation files).

Then go HERE and use this guide to install WiiGator Gamma and cIOS36 rev7.

After that install DVDx again.

This should fix your issue.

That ended up working. I unistalled the cios, the backup loader, and the dvdx and then installed the latest I could find and the gamma loader and worked like a charm.
