Hi All..

Iv been trying to get data files to work on my 360 and I get told I need update 51-C00DF236.

Iv found the thread on here which says you can update through xbox live. However my 360 doesn't work for xbox live(It was bought that way). It's probably been banned.

I just need to know if anyone knows If you can update the 360 media update I need without going on to Xbox live.

Is it impossible for you to connect to xbox live b/c you don't have the Internet? Or some other issue?

You could just get a silver account and then download the update. Having a banned 360 shouldn't prevent you from doing that if you sign up for a new account.

I don't use xbox live either but needed the media update on both of my modded systems. I created two xbox live accounts for each console, made sure the update worked, deleted my two accounts, and the update is still working.
