I have posted a thread on my broken xbox 360. I posted a comment in this thread boasting about how my 3 year old 360 was still working just a few days ago. Well it has the rrod. It turns on and I can stay on the dashboard as long as I want but it jams when I play a game for a few minutes. When I try to turn it on straight after that, I get the three red lights. How long does the x-clamp fix last on average and how long does Microsoft's fix last on average?

If you do it, I would recommend getting a Talismoon MAX 12v fan because doing an X-Clamp replacement with the regular fan, I've found, evaporates the Arctic Silver grease from the heat over time, requiring you to re-apply and reflow every few months.
