i was wondering if there is an emulator to play backup gamecube games on the wii or do i not need anything, i already have homebrew with a wiigator .3 game launcher. and which disc does better dvd-r or dvd+r. thanks

There is no softmod yet for GC games. You will need a modchip to get GC support.
Best media to use for Wii/GC media is Verbatim or Tayio Yuden(premium).

this is not true wiigator has released a GC backup launceher for the softmodded wii. I currently have it on my softmodded wii here a link for you Wii GC Backup Launcher. There are still some bugs and you may get some errors with certain games.

Just as NDarkness has stated. That post was a week ago when there wasn't a GC loader yet. Learn to look at dates when post are made before trying to correct them.

Not only can you play gamecube games with just a mod chip but you can also put more then 1 game on a disk so I usally put 3 per disk that way its full and you can play what ever game you want for example I have collection of games so I put mario games all on one disk that way its 1 disk all mario games.. tales of syphonia thats 2 disks doesnt work with puting them both on 1 disk thats the only game that has to be on seprate disks all together

Not only can you type on afterdawn forums with a computer and a keyboard but you can also put more "then" 1 sentence in a paragraph so I usually put 2 or 3 sentences in one large statement with and don't bother with any punctuation pauses or sentence endings so I just keep typing and typing until I feel that I have made my point even though deep down inside I realize that most will read the first line and give up on the rest

I'm curios, is it really necessary for senior members to patronize junior members. If it is that's absolutely amazing, cause last time I checked forums are Internet based and no really cares whearther or not you use punctuations or not.
Feel free to rag on mispellings or any faults with my post, but if I remember correctlly this thread is about playing gamecube backups on the Wii.

Proper grammar, spelling and punctuation might not be that important, but it should at least be attempted so replies can be read and understood more clearly.
Your post is just as pointless, since it itself has nothing to do with playing backup GC games on the Wii either.

A disc is less then $1 so it isn't like your busting the bank.

Yes it works its the wiigator GC backup launcher. I have it on my wii the only downfall there are a few bugs in it still, but not a real big deal.
