Hi, I see you have done well with e/vox7000hd+
would like to know how you got it working?
Is the hd part make a whole lot of difference?
Do the non-hd channels improve any?
I notice this box goes up to 1080i, would there be another one with 1080p? Perhaps the forum readers can enlighten all of us.

Hello there.
I really did not have to do much to set it up to be honest, it came flashed already and all I had to do was put in the usb key that came with it and switched it on. Once it had updated itself I did a normal scan and it pulled in the channels. I think it makes a difference picture wise, it outputs at 1080i but I run it through a
Yamaha RX-V3800 amp which upscales it to 1080p. I have also hooked uo an external 160Gb USB2 drive to it and I can record directly to that as a PVR...the picture in my opinion is immaculate and I am watching it on a 55" lcd tv. I have 3 hours recorded to it and that has only taken up 1% of that drive. Hope this is of use to you. Give me a shout if you need anymore advice.

Can Shelia or anyone else on this forum please tell me how to get my channels in the correct order? Ive managed to get the ev ex7000 working, but all the channels are in the wrong order!
Also, can someone please confirm if I should of updated the firmware with the flash.tbn file or the main_090122.tbn file?
I have read the forum for the last 1-2 hours and I'm haing no luck...

Hi bfam to sort chanels press menu thenright arrow to channel then channel edit etc also the firmware on the ex7000hd updates automaticaly

Eurovox 7000 hd. feel stupid, have put firmware on pen and transfered, am now stuck , what to do mext can ypu help,?
do i meed code as same with starview?

Hi if you have downloaded the correct firmware (see my other thread) via usb pen then chanels appear automaticaly

Would you recommend this box to other users hun i have only ever used starviews and i now want an HD box? Would you say this is a good box?

Hey everyone,
Im having trouble with my EX7000HD. I have tried to follow all that has been said in related threads to no avail. I downloaded both flash.tbn and main_090122.tbn onto the usb and inserted. I then menu>usb>data transfer> and both tbn dn and tbn up on both files.
No success. Have all channels but the more coveted ones are glitching/tripping every 5 seconds or so. I've tried changing the menu>tv settings to no avail either, really stuck now. I did scan at the beginning and scanned about 10 times since, I'd really appreciate some help.

Please read my other threads to use the box and yes the picture is better on all counts hd tv is only transmited in 1080i at the moment

Hi i just received my Eurovox EX7000 HD+ today, i downloaded the flash.tbn file to the usb memory stick (but not in a folder), then switched the box off/on and it automatically updated box. I scanned as normal and when finished, the box updated and everything was there. Hope this will help some-one...good luck
The pic for me was better than normal, HD channel was great. I still don't know much about the box or the firmware, but i will find out soon enough...on a need to know basis!!

Hi just got the EX7000 and very impressed so far can you tell me the latest firmware for this, have gone into the system and as far as i can tell it was january 2009 that it was showing for the firmware.
Done a deep scan but channels still showing as scrambled have a friend who has the same box from the same supplier last week but he has never done the firmware, he said that he got the 'scrambled channel' notification he left it and after a couple of hours it all worked.
Any help would be appreciated.
