Cheat Device Broke My Psp?

Hey all,

I upgraded my psp to 3.90 m33-3 and installed cheat device for liberty city's correctly.

It work perfectly until it froze and i had to restart the psp.

NOW NO UMDS WILL SHOW UP WHEN I PUT THEM IN THE PSP.
The ripple thing just comes up in the bottom right corner and doesn't go away.
I have tried 5 different umds and none work.

Should i upgrade to a newer CFW or is my PSP finally broken? :(

Any Help Greatly Appreciated.

Well im a noob so far but as far as i know youd be best making a pandora battery and restarting psp.but im not sure so you mines well wait till tommorow evening when the experts come.

try resetting your settings and formatting flash 1 in the recovery menu under advanced if that doesn't work try upgrading the firmware to 5.00 m33-6 or like the previous post you could try a pandora battery if nothing else works

from the looks of it, it isn't broke its just freezing during the reading process so a new cfw install and resetting the settings should do the trick

WAIT! I LIED.

I formatted flash1 then the umd came up. it ran perfectly, then i put cheat device on and the umd wont show up, is it the cheat device that is causing this?

Yes, it appears to be the problem.

What cheat program are you using? The best one available is 'CWCheat', if you're already using that, then update to the latest version and likewise with your firmware.

yea like the previous post said the problem is the cheat device for liberty city that your trying to add is messing with the umd drive so you should update your firmware to 5.00 m33-6 and the download the latest cwcheat here http://dl.qj.net/CWCheat-0.2.2-REV.D-PSP...23895/catid/114
