General advice for twilight hack

Here's my setup:
I have
-an SD card
-No wifi acess from wii
-Rented copy of Zelda

There's a lot of info on here about homebrew, hacks etc. But I'm wondering what's the best path to take. I will follow the guide on the twilight hack, but is there any info on what type of backed up games to play. Do I need a wiiscrubbed game? I know it needs to be same region ie. US.
Alos, can I back up games without wifi-is it in any guide here?

Scrubbed game?
No, not necessary. Scrubbing just makes the game iso compress much better for distribution online.

Same region?
Also not necessary, as wiigator can force video output to a form compatible with your television and block any out of region updates from an import game disk.

Wifi?
Why would you need wifi to play a backup game? The only homebrew you need wifi for is the downgrader and disk dumper. I suppose if you're on a very low firmware level (like before 3.0) you're going to have trouble playing alot of games, but other than that theres no reason for you to need wifi.

Edit: Sorry, I misread that last question. You can copy your games without wifi. There is a program that will let you dump the game in chunks to the SD card, then recombine them into an iso on your computer. There used to be a guide somewhere but I cant seem to find it now.
