Safe to run backup games of the HDD

I was just wondering, is it safe to run backup games off the hdd? I know the risk you take in playing online, etc. But is it okay to store the game on the hard drive?

yes it is safe to load them from the hard drive

Excellent, thanks for your quick reply. I take it, this will help keep the laser life when using burnt games.

Quick question, just to make sure I have it right. Verbatims +R are the best to get?

And on average, how long will a flashed 360 last for, versus one that only is used on original disc?
