hi all i have just upgraded my pc to a laptop and just wanted some info on cables for my starview i have the Female to Female RS232 Null Modem for updating but noticed my laptop with vista installed has a female output and just wounded what adaptor i need will all types work or need certen one so when i have to update my box i have all the cables. also while im hear i wanted to connect my laptop to tv which has a male output will a standard male to female cable work for this thanks in advance daz

You will need a null modem & possibly a gender changer. (both cheap as chips)
