I'm asking this so I don't do anything stupid and brick my psp as I live in a rural area and it would take ages to get fixed.

The lowest you can go is 3.60, but why would you want to do that? Flash to the newest CFW, and use the popsloader plugin for your PSX games. Most homebrew do not require the 1.5 kernal anymore, so it shouldn't affect you. But you can always use TimeMachine If you don't like how the new homebrew ports function.

Well now i don't know no more, i was told 3.71 was the lowest.
Why would i do that? Because i was recommended it.
I tried different cfw, but i ended up going back to official firmware, since i haven't found any homebrews that i want, and since those cfw i used were buggy.
