How can I market myself locally as a modder. I have been having trouble finding business lately and haven't quite figured out how to market myself locally.

How do you market yourself?

Does anybody have any advice about how you got the word out about yourself?

Well I have used craigslist and have been posting ads on it for months but haven't gotten a single response.

I never thought of using flyers.

How did you go about doing that? What kind of flyers did you make and where did you post them?

So did you ever get any customers period lol?

Edit: Great craigslist just flagged my ad.

I guess they are cracking down on modchip ads.

On another note with the new epoxy drives, installations are gonna start requiring more professional modders. Which means no more just buying wii-clips to install. Its gonna start requiring some real elbow grease!

Don't do it locally....that's one way for the fuzz to go after you. Laws are different in many countries though so check with that first.

Just advertise yourself in forums. Make sure to read the rules if it is allowed though.

I'm just wondering has anyone ever gotten in trouble for locally modding wiis. I mean I have heard of like large scale $10,000+ buisnesses getting busted by the FBI but I really have never heard of a high school or college kid getting busted for modding.

Although if you have any articles link em'. As I would honestly like to know how much pressure there is on modding.

I mean I mostly want to do this not so much to make money but because I am fascinated by electronics and taking the epoxy off drives and soldering stuff seems sooo cool to me!
