I have been trying to mod my wii for a couple months now. I have a gc2-d1a chipset on my mother board. The guy I ordered from, said I just need a wiikey2 w/ wii clip 2. He sent me one with points a,b,c, and g soldered from the clip to the chip. I put it on my wii, and the system turned on, the led light was red, and the games would insert at all. He told me then to cut the g solder, because I needed only a,b and C with this chip. Did that and same problem. He then made me pay for shipping to and from, sent me a new chip, this time, again a,b,c and G soldered, but on the chip itself, it had a chunk from the chip on the G wire taken out. Installed it, same exact problem. The guy said I must have damaged the pins on my mother board, thats why its not working. So is my problem that I have the wrong chip all together? Or is my wii damaged? I appreciate the help, Im am in a quandry
