I have recently burned a bunch of movies on Platinum DVD-R 1-4x, but they don't work. I know I burned it right because they play on my computer.
Next I burned it on Verbatim DVD+R 1-4x, and they all worked on PS2
My PS2 has the original software (I bought it when it first came out). I read that PS2 played DVD-R and not DVD+R which is contrary to my experience.
Perhaps -R and +R doesn't make any difference. Can someone suggest a DVD-R brand that definately works on PS2. I am currently paying $2.02 for each Verbatim disc and like a cheaper alternative.
