eurovox max blue clone code 2220?help

iv just got my eurovox max clone back from my mate who's been using it for the past 6months....in dec when the boxes went down,he tried to update the fix available,but im unsure if he put the right firmware on it...he states that its a blank screen and the display says something like 2220 or something....is it bricked or could i just use the dnupman and new clone fix to rectify the problem...im not home,so cant try till then...can someone reassure me?

if you try to flash with the updated firmare ix,it should help....but then again,im not too familiar with that box..im sure someone will come to your rescue...

Presuming he used the correct firmware, do this:
Take your scart lead out first.
1. Plug an RF, (coax), lead into the video RF socket on the back of the Eurovox.
2. Tune your telly until you get the 'enter pin' screen for your Eurovox.
3. Enter the master pin which is 1004.
4. Go to Eurovox menu and clear data, then do a factory reset.
5. Thats it, plug your scart back in and do a powerscan as normal.

it just says on screen,waiting for response and nothing happens..on the box display it says 2022 when not in standby mode..help..im downloading version 1 of the blue clone fix140207??

no luck......even when i was trying to load the correct firmware on the box,it wouldnt load..tryed thye start loading and then switch on the box method....it just said waiting for response from box...waited approx 1 min,no change.....then i tryed the above method,with the cable wire in the rf socket and no scart in,and theb screens still blank and the code 2022 is still there..i didnt tune to find if i could come to the pin screen since i assumed that the channel i usually use would be the one i should be getting a pic on...was i wrong,if s,il try again tonight and try a scan on the tv...il let you know....also,if instead of tring to find the screen with pin displayed,i just press the master 1004 on the remote,can i not get to the menu,if somone tells me how to..will the methos described to me above get rid of the 2022 display?regards everyone thats trying to help..

You NEED to tune the TV in as scouser said,

will do so tonight....il auto scan on tv....let me get this straight...i need to plug the rf cable wire(which i obtain cable media from) into the rf out socket on the back of the box,right.???what about the scart coming in from the tv to my box..if i dont have that attacheed how will i get any pic regardless on scree.??/

Hi i had the same problem, mines been working fone now, however i can not chaneg the time ofor the box as the box restars automatically, is there any way around this?
The epg has wrong times on it, ie my box is 6 hours box and i cant change it?
help..lol

Hi i am fromt he UK, i looked at the link you provided however i can not change the time like normal on my box, i already no how to do that.
When i go into the time menu the box restarts automatically, this has been happening since the box was flashed with the wrong software, now the box is working with the right software however the time is never right and i can not change the time as we normally would ie gmt +1, or -1, as the box restarts when i try to do this...
any other advice?
