hi folks,
i have an old st**view box (clone) which has all the channels but not viewable...the picture is all distorted and stalls,can somebody give me a link to the firmware i need and a step by step guide how to load it onto my box.

have u checked ur scart connections and coaxial ,and remove splitters.

You need these files to download and update on your box, it contains two BIN files Core257.bin for you CLONE, and Core400,bib for the genuine, so you want the 257.bin and you need the GTRom Loader 4.00 to put it on your box, and if you click on the link marked Starview 2nd line at the bottom of my post you will find a guide with all the information as to flashing the box courtesy of Celtic, so download these >>>>>

would have thought updating problem then u would have needed firmware
as i am thinking of that signal or connection issue.

downloaded gtrom and put new firmware on it but ..............the picture is still distorted and spluttering...is that a sign of one of the caps gone.....i did look at the board but im not bill gates.....oh and yes the emu is on.
