Anyone else download and play this? For some reason it locked up and froze my 360 twice. Game is ok. Nothing spectacular. I'd rather play C&C or Civilizations Revolution.

yes i downloaded and played, and those of you on here that know me, know i play a s*** load of halo, and I absoulty hated it. They are in C&C territory and they need to back off. Releasing a demo was a bad move, because I would bet alot of money on it there are going to be alot of dissapoinnted halo fans. I thought it would be somewhat different from C&C but it was like the exact same thing! I also will not spend 80$ on a game like this just to get the map pack. It can wait. And for those of you who read bad reviews on dead space, it's a lie! that game is great! repetative enemys, but it has a very bioshocky feel to it. And i started playing NPPL last night. god that is awful.... i was hopeing that maybe, just maybe someone would send a me a inv and save me from that horrid game. If any of you see me on live again playing NPPL, i expect you to be a friend and send me an inv. :) later c.

yea, the NPPL was pretty bad, but hey, it was an easy 400 ish points for me though, lol.

lol you guys are too funny sometimes.
but halo wars demo i played a little bit, but i was passing out with the controller in my hands lol. it was cool i thought but i do not think hardcore RTS fans are going to like it very much.
oh and about deadspace i agree 100%. awesome game with some of the coolest looking bosses and enimies ever. the fight with the big slug thing was so cool. i recommend it to everyone at least play thru it once.
i also have NPPL i think i played single player for about 10 mins when i first got it and havent touched it since. Is the online any good at least?

i havn't tried the online yet, but NPPL should be filed under the easy achievments section. 400 Gamerpoints for about 30 mins. of play time.

i personally hate halo 3, but i thought halo wars was a change of pace. i wouldnt buy it, but if it was given to me as a gift or something i would play it.

very true. i still buy games if i really like them. most of my friends still buy all their games, and i borrow them and if I like them ill buy them.

yes i support the company if i truly like a game. and bhetrick you are 110% correct. lol. i should be a spokesperson. :) btw did you guys know EA cut 1,500 employees? I know the economy is bad, but this is a reminder to everyone new here, if you like a game support the publisher by buying it! if these guys go out of business then there wont be any games for any of us to play! if there is they will all be garbage and not worth playing anyway. so support your industry!

I think the reason why you guys didn't like halo wars was because maybe you were playing the game too much as an RTS, I know that sounds dumb but halo wars should be played as a real time action game, lol. Think about it, they made this game so that people that play halo can play this game, I like the game because is a bit faster than other rts games (I'm not saying it's better cause is just a demo). Just give the game a chance, I really enjoy running over grunts.

I played the halo wars demo and I think its amazing, I like most RTS games but cannot stand how long they take to play. Last time I played C&C Tiberian Sun it took about 2 and a half hours. I enjoyed the game but my eyes were strained. :) Although the full game hasn't come out, i feel that there is no way that a round of halo wars could take that long unless it was 3 v 3. The only issue i have is that I feel the game is heavily one sided as the Covenent can demolish UNSC forces within like 5 mins of gameplay. Other than that I think it is a fantastic game.

Yea but I'd rather buy the majority of my games, don't wanna fry my 360 attempting to mod it and i do enjoy online play so i figure that its for the best. I modded my original xbox because I softmodded and could still play on xlinkkai and xbc but since they dont work with 360 as far as I know I probably wont be modding the 360

u can play online with a modded console... so what if u get banned, sell that one for 100 or a little more and buy an arcade. keep ur hdd and u are good to go. save more than u spend even if u get banned more than once

well then you could just keep the elite for offline play, and get an arcade for online play, and just swap the HDs back and forth between the two consoles.

that sucks, a cheaper route would be to buy a RROD off of ebay that still has the warranty label in tact and send it in to get fixed for free. should only cost you around 50 bucks then.

look in a week u could get enuff games to offset that 400 purchase. or u could keep buying games and after u buy 5 more u have spent 400+ more dollars. lets see for 400 bucks i could buy about 200 or so blank dvd+R dl discs. if i went out and bought 200 games at 60 each it would cost 1200 dollars.
