203w & 175w powersupply what one to use?

got a secondhand 360 but not sure what powersupply it needs
will it harm 360 if i use a 203w on a 175w console?

just to add ive got both 203w & 175w powerbricks and the plugs that go in 360's to power it are the same.

I would use the powerbrick that matches your console's power requirements. Supplying your console more power than required won't do you any good!

Your console might or might not have some circuitry to prevent damage from over powering it.

problem is i dont know what powerbrick it requires, phoned xbox support no help at all.any way you can tell from looking at console what supply it takes.

On the back of the console, to the left of the barcode, right above the "made in china" is the power requirements.

16a = 203w brick
14a = 175w brick
12a = 150w brick
