it sounds like you need to drop the nagrarom 7 file into your box using the program filezilla

You have to use IFA for flashing if the image at the dbox2 is corrupted.

You need a crossover network cable for a direct connection to the dbox and you can use additionally a nullmodem cable if you want.
Beside that you need a complete dbox2 image. The romfile cannot repair a corrupted software at the dbox and IFA can only flash a complete image.

Ok i think im nearly there
I need to flash the dbox with an image file using IFA with a null modem connection and a cross over cable.

I think the image file i need is mtd3_1x.img
I downloaded it from chatter box tool bar in a zip file called complete dbox 2.zip but when i unzip it says its corrupt and can not open

I m now banging my head against a brick wall can some please tell me where i can find the mtd3 file if that is the one i need before 2 d boxs end up in the bin
Thanks in advance Bri
