can anyone tell me where i can find a drive to copy wii games
and will they play with the homebrew twilight hack

Try posting on local newsgroups/classified sites to try and find a drive. But your best bet may be ebay... they're scarce and expensive nowadays.

As far as the backups playing with the twilight hack, yes they will play once you install the hack and wiigator backup loader. Go to the Ultimate Sticky HERE for guides on how to do everything.

The LG drive method is the easiest, but if you cant track one down theres a very nice guide on how to back up wii games without an LG drive here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/701082

go with verbatim disks, and use DVD-R, not +R,
sony and TDK disks are good too

I found a place that had 10 old lg drives i picked up four don't know if they have any more can find out £15 bargin i thought. Iam in east london if that helps any one .
