Wii Backup Games Flickering

I have some backup games that flicker (a vertical roll) and some that don't. I first thought that it was the Memorex DVD-R's that I was using so I got some Sony DVD-R's and it still does the same thing. I also tired a different DVD burner (I have a Sony DRU510A and a Teac DV-W28EC). I burn all games at 2x with ImgBurn and have the HBC with the Backup Channel and Firmware 3.2U on the Wii (no MODChip). So far I have three out of 20 games that flicker. A friends Wii with the same setup gets the flicker on some games that work on my Wii. What could cause this problem. So far I have not found a solution.

this happened when I played Call of duty world at war
it flickered uncontrolably, but I found that if you force NTSC (or PAL) whatever your region is, it stops. U can enable forcing a region in one of the menus.
