AFter converting a DVD to avi using DVD shrink, and then WINAVI video converter, when I play back the video it runs fine but when it gets to an "opening title"(i.e xxxx presents...) it will cut to the french version, then the spanish then back to english and will repeat this until the actual movie starts - then it continues in english not problem thought the movie.

Is there a way to avoid this when burning to the HD, or am I forced to use an editing tool to remove these segments specific segments.

Regards

You can try running your original files through DVD Shrink again. This time remove all audio tracks except the one you want to keep.

99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.

Unfortnuatly this continues even when using DVD Shrink Again. Just to clarify it is not the audio track that there is an issue with it is the openning credit frames only.
it will run for a few seconds with the openning "a roger film....."
then jump back to a spot where it will runn for a few seconds " une film de roger....."
and will continue show one openning credits in one language, then goback a couple of seconds and show the same openning credits in another language. This continues until the openning credits are over and the movie beigns.....
all while the english audio plays......

It is an inconvinece which I can live with but would like to resolve.

Cheers

Is it an issue with the DVD being multi-angle ?
