If I do get a hold of one, I will post. My friend is looking for his but hasn't been able to find it. I've checked around and haven't been able to find one on the internet.

Yeah, that is for NTSC-U consoles. I think I seen a PAL one floating around too.
Looks like it is just the security sectors. I think the disc I copied ended up being like between 4.5 and 6 gigabytes.

I was able to get a hold of a Transfer Disc awhile back. It has the same bar codes around the ring like 360 games do. And when I copied it, the program pulled the SS, DMI, and PFI. Typical MS... ;)

Ebay has the whole kit from hong kong for around 3.00 with free shipping just buy one. No Microsoft does not give them out you have to have proof of purchase of two xbox hard drives with serial numbers.

just get on ebay and search for elite consoles and find on that has a pic of the SN and use it for you 'upgrade' console to be eligible for the transfer kit for free from MS.

I downloaded that patch, burned to a disc, but my 360 is reading it as a mixed media disc and nothing's happening...
Anyone know of the proper way to burn this thing so I can get my kit going?

FYI: I bought this kit from that damn Hong Kong seller on ebay. The kit itself seems fine but the disc they sent is giving me the "mixed media disc" message too. How the crap do I fix this?

A: Hi, Yes, it comes with the disc.Please kindly note this item is for data transfer from hard drive to PC and then to another drive,not directly to xbox. Alice

i know this is an old topic, but the entire disc just popped up on nzbmatrix. its for NTSC consoles and its about 8.42 gigs.

Fellaz....its really no big deal....but you gotta have a valid Xbox Live Connection. Forget about the crappy cable transfer with the "Chinese Software"....I bought a Hong Kong 120Gb drive....finally figured out..... all you need to do is use the 128mb or 256mb internal storage...or if you dont have internal storage...(old Xbox 360)...pick a 512mb Xbox MU for $15 beans on eBay or Best Buy and then...
1. Load your existing 20 or 60 GB Hdd on 360
2. Sign in to Xbox Live
3. Go to System Settings...Memory
4. Move your Xbox Live Profile to MU (Memory Unit)
5. Proceed to move up your saved files in the games folder from 20 or 60 Gb HDD to MU until full.
6. Once saves are all complete (or card is full) you done with the hard part(this may take a couple of times transferring depending on how big your saves are and how many games you have)
7. Turn off 360...slap on new drive 120Gb or 250Gb
8 Log into Xbox Live with your profile.
9. Go back to system...memory and begin to move saves from MU to new HDD
10. Make sure you move your profile back from MU to new HDD after your done. Log back into Xbox Live and retrieve all Market Place content ( ie...Rock Band 1,2 downloads.. etc)
11. You done! Believe me... it's faster than the transfer cable and software....
