Hi All

My 1st post and thanks in advance

I have a usa wii and am now live in the uk is it possable to upgrade it to uk firmware it has 3.2u and how do i convert it. I want to play uk bought games on it and also go on to the internet and play on uk sites.

You want to use the region changer, a homebrew program that you run with the homebrew channel. Be warned though that alot of people have messed up their wii's using the region changer.

If you have a modchip make sure region override is turned on before running the region changer.

Will I have to use a us copy of Zelda I have a uk one I intened to put a wiikey 1 in .

You'll need a US copy unless you put the modchip in, then you can either use the UK disk or since you're still on firmware 3.2 you can still use the homebrew channel installer disk. The disk only works on modded consoles on 3.2 or lower, but it will let you install homebrew channel without the twilight hack.

Hi Came home to day and fitted wiikey 2 but non i have a problem kids have updated to ver 3.4u from 3.2u anyway now my wii can only read the wii config disk so i beleve that that means chip installed ok what shoul i do now as it wont read any backups and i dont have a us disk hear
