I have installed several versions of linux trying to find the best distro and I have had no problems. I have done installs using my HDTV and my HD monitor, I was talking to my cousin about linux and he wanted to install it. So we go through the Ubuntu install and I cant get the screen resolution right. He is using a Sharp 32 inch HDTV. Now the funny thing is that his TV gives him a unsupported signal message, but I can take his PS3 and hook them up to either my monitor or TV and they run linux fine at 720p. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so how do I fix it? If anyone has any knowledge in this area then your help is greatly appreciated.
