Hi all
I had just got in from work tonight and there was a knock at the door, my wife answered it and the bloke asked if we were virgin customers, as he wanted to check the connections on our box.
She kinda stuttered and said no were not (we obviously are) and he then asked if we wanted to be and when she said no he went on his way.
i am assuming the are checking up on illegal boxes as there was about 4 of them in our road. Do you think they will check to see if we are on Virgin and once finding out that we are demand to come in and see the box??
This happened in the teesside area so just to warn anyone else too
Chris

They cant go into your home, unless you invite them in.

This has been going on in merseyside for some time. They are targeting arears with high basic packages. i posted something about this a couple of months ago. Don't let them in!!!! The same thing happened in our street, lucky enough the lad had come off nights so was up and the enginear was told to foook off, he was suposedly checking all the lines in the area, as there was a fault.

If they turn up without appointment as said just refuse entry, no need to really say that you are not a custumer, just tell them that is is not convenient and to make an appointment if they wish to gain access, cheeky bu**ers.
