Hi,

Sorry im really new on this and not at all computer literate. I have just purchased this new box and i am looking to download the firmware for it. I have been on this link http://www.freewebs.com/boxsuper/ , but have been unable to follow it as my computer doesn't have the option of Ports on the device manager.

I have a usb to usb cable and am wondering if i can use this to transfer the data to the box? Can anyone holp me with this?

Thanks

I was trying to follow the steps on the link above, but i am unable to as when i go into the device manager i don't have the option to choose any 'ports'. I want to follow the actions on the link as advised using a USB to USB lead to connect the Box to my computer.

If its a starview 4 b0x, then you need a usb stick to flash the b0x.
You`ll need the v1.07 firmware which you`ll find in the "B0x Super USB" folder in eamos library under my sig.

Download the firmware onto your desktop & drag the file onto the usb stick. Insert the usb in the b0x & press menu.
Select the usb option at the bottom of the screen > press ok.
Select the v1.07 > press ok & the b0x will now load the firmware.
