How to Convert Wii to read SDHC Cards

I read somewhere that the Wii can be converted to read SDHC cards. I can no longer find where it was. If it can, is it limited to a certain size. '4gb, 8gb'?

I think you misunderstood what you read.

The wii, functioning normally, cannot use SDHC cards. The homebrew channel can load data from SDHC cards but only the homebrew channel can do this. Theres no way to make the wii read an SDHC card normally the way it would a normal SD card.

I only use my SD card for Homebrew apps such as emulators and wads. Can I use SDHC for these? Any idea on the max size?

If your homebrew channel is updated then yes, you should be able to use SDHC for emulators and wads. I've never tested it myself since my roms and such are nowhere near passing 2 gigs but it should work.

And as far as I know if any size SDHC works then they should all work.
