So I recently installed a Wiikey solderless modchip in my console (which is DMS so it should work fine) but I've been having problems with it. First off, I tried a regular copy of RE4, which worked fine. Then I attempted to run a Metroid Prime 3 backup and it wouldn't read the disk. I burned it onto a Memorex DVD-R using Imgburn. I made 2 copies, 1 at 4x which didn't work, and another at 2x that didn't work. I attempted to use the config 1.9s with no luck, and the GCOS with no luck, it's just not reading anything. I even opened the console back up to make sure the wiikey chip was connected right and everything looked fine. If anyone can help me I'd greatly appreciate your time - thank you!!!

bleeeeeehhhhh.....

Try better media like Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden with a max speed of 8X. Burn the .iso with ImgBurn at 4X speed. If the backups still do not work then re-check the chip. Make sure it's secured down with electrical tape. Cover the whole chip with electrical tape.

If it still does not work then you may need to purchase a new DVD Writer.

cover and hold down the chip itself or the clip? I'm guessing the clip. And I'll try verbatim and if that doesn't work then another computer to burn the disc

and metroid prime 3 is old enough that it should work without updating the firmware first, right? (My Wii is v3.1 if that matters)
