I have a few questions regarding backing up games and everthing surounding it

1. Do i have to have a specefic (exuse my horrid english:( ) burner or will any run of the mill dvd dl burner do? cause i have set my eyes on a samsung SH-S202J or a SH-S223F
2. does it matter what media i use or does it have to be verbatims cause i also heard people who have used memorex without problems ( they have benq drives so do i) or does it depend on the burner
3. do i have to stealth patch my games or is it only usefull for playing on xbox live and will i get caught for simply logoon on xbox live with a non patched game.

Srry for the long rant :) but i will be very gratefull for your help.

1 dosnt matter
2 verbs are the best wont ruin your laser, memosux work sometimes
3 if you ever go on live, better stealth patch those games
