I actually enjoy several of the PSPs retail games. Particularly, the many RPGs on the system.
It's sales have been lagging in the NPD data (US sales only), but in Japan this thing is on fire. Outselling every system except the DS. Japan seems to be the only region where people actually pay for their retail PSP games.

Why's:
its got an interlaced display interface.
It hasn't been hacked.
Do you need any more reasons Why you shouldn't buy it.

i bought, several retail games mainly RPg's. i bought the remake of the first StarOcean. i played the original for Super Famicom and find the remake only to be slightly disappointing because of the remade Character and the Level maps were remade that was Okay.
i also purchased a Tales Of game which was quite good it was short though.
i think i was the only one to find the FFVII game on the psp, to be nothing more than major hype, though it did show what the psp had power. i downloaded it tried it and got rid of it the same day.
PopoloCrois, is another one i purchased, once you get used too the battle mechanics the game actually quite good.

The only commercial games I really liked for the PSP were the Megaman remakes and a couple of RPGs... And they were also remakes, Riviera and Disgaea. Locoroco was cute, but I didn't really get into it.
I only use it as an emulation system, Genesis, NES, and SNES... No point in getting the 3000 for me.

People who like to run emulation.
People who like to develop.
People that like to push the hardware as far as it can go.
and of coarse what your probably going to say, to pirate.
Its not illegal to chip you console, its just illegal to play pirated games.
its in the same department as DVD burners its not illegal to have one but its illegal to copy copyrighted work.

That's a better statement to state rather than saying "PSP-3000 = No Sales.
Why's:

It hasn't been hacked.
Do you need any more reasons Why you shouldn't buy it."
