Some of those games need a specific WAD file installed for them to work. Do a little searching (Madworld) to find out what WAD files those are.

Awesome thanks man, just some more questions before I go off to find wad file
I would be searching now for wads but I am on work PC so they monitor that sort of stuff and I am trying to get as much info to speed up my searching so I can get MotoGP going before mates come round tomorrow
I thought wad files only applied to soft modded wii's hence I have done no research
Why is this wad file not installed by uploader?
Is this because I am in another region?
When I find the correct wad file, will it tell me how to install it into Wii iso?
Is it some sort of program like regionfrii?

What firmware are you on?
This is usually due to your Wii Firmware not being up to date. If you don't want to update due to limitations newer updates place on homebrew then you can install individual WAD files without updating the Wii Firmware and possibly limiting your homebrew.

I am on 3.4E
I have never installed any homebrew, just backups.
Do I have to enter the homebrew world to play these games that arent loading automatically?

I am reading the tutorials and will have it sorted in day or so.
Things I dont get at this stage.
Do I just need to use backups that contain that wad and it will update via the Disc.
Animal Crossing (it asked to update, I researched , let it run and it took 15 seconds tops and then it played fine)Did it instal a required Wad?
Am I starting to get backups that have been brick blocked so Wad is removed so it does not update that wad to list
To play MotoGP or madworld do I just need recent PAL game that has that same wad on it and it will ask to update, I install safely like animal crossing? reload MotoGP and I am all good?
This would seem to be the easiest way (No HBC required)

Animal Crossing had an updated wad file for WiiSpeak hardware. So you must not have had that update installed.
First off I would make sure you have PAL versions of the game. If you do not know for sure if your using a PAL or other region game then you can find out by using WiiBrickBlocker.
Load the ISO file into WiiBrickBlocker and press READ INFO. This will tell you what the region code of the original game disc is.
Once you get a PAL version of the game do not WiiBrickBlock it. Just load the game in and perform the update that is required.

Cheers for the reply, but there is no PAL version of MotoGP yet, its 3 weeks away, some would say a lifetime. But I have a PAL version of MADworld, checked it with Regionfrii and it refused to load as well. Do I just load update 4.0
(does it have all wads I require?) and I am good? .Both were already brickblocked?
Is that the issue?
load a new game with correct wad updates(pal and not brick blocked) like HOTD:O and live happily ever after?

Hey, I have spent hours going over all the posts and trying all the ideas still with no success. Had the wii soft modded, all the games work up to now when I tried the new indy one. The green screen. I have been trying to do things I have been reading (gamma etc) with no luck. Can anyone put it in step by step (for the dummies) for me please..... Its driving me nuts.

No, you have to extract first. For Neogamma there will be a folder called Neogamma. Put the Neogamma folder in the Apps folder in your SD card.
For cIOS there will be a folder called cIOS38. Put the cIOS38 folder in the apps folder in your SD card.
You have to then go to the Homebrew Channel to install cIOS. I am assuming that you have at least one of the cIOSes since you are able to play other games.

-116 is a network issue.
Is your Wii connected to the internet? and do you have at least HBC 1.0.1?

You'll either have to get it connected to the internet or find a wad of ios38-64-v3610.wad.
And the homebrew channel tells you which version you have in the top right when you press the home button.

You're welcome
Put ios38-64-v3610.wad in the root of your SD card.
(For regular wads you would put them in the wad folder on your SD card.)

Good to hear that it's working.
