I've recently downloaded all the software, but in the first step when I need to copy the Twilight hack from the card to the Wii, I get a "Data was not copied" error. I did read somewhere that it says to format your card using FAT and I don't believe I did. would that cause the problem?
FYI, my wii is updated to 3.4. Not sure what hack version I'm using.

Could be one of 2 problems.

3.4 requires the most recent version of the twilight hack to work. No other version can be copied to the internal memory.

Before you can copy a save game to the internal memory you have to have actually played the game at least once. If you've never played twilight princess on that wii before then you need to play it up to the point where you can save, then delete the save file and copy the hack over.

Ahh, ok. I hadn't played the game yet so obviously don't have one. I will try that first and then check back if I have any more questions.
BTW, I checked the properties on a couple of these files and they appear to have been created in 11/08. The 3.4 hack should be newer than that, right?

If I remember correctly 3.4 was released in the beginning of December, so yes you probably want a newer twilight hack than that. This is the newest version http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Twilight_Hack#0.1beta2

Ok, I downloaded the version thru the link you provided. Now, do I just go into the files I already have and replace the "Private" folder with the one I just downloaded?

Yep, thats it. Set it up exactly like it was before but with the newer twilight hack version.

Also, remember to return to the main menu from the settings via the back button and not the home button. Using the home button will delete the twilight hack before you get a chance to use it.

Well, it looks like everything worked! Now, I just need to copy one of my games and test it out. Thanks for all the help and I'll be back if I have any more questions.
