Hello guys.

I'm getting this error messege wile trying to back up Ultimate Jordan Disk 1 : Can not copy DVD.

This is a Dvd-9, I want to back up full movie to
2 dvd-r's.
The strange is that I did back up with dvdfab Ultimate Jordan disk2 with no issues.

Can any of you guys help me with this issue. Or if I should use another software to back up the full movie with 2 dvd-r's.

Thank you,
TheH

Looks like it has CSS encoded on it, and seem's like there is no way to make DvdFab back up this disk.

My question is: is there a program that will Rip or decryp the full movie with menus to a video_ts folder to burn with nero, I will like to split the movie on 2 dvdr's, Dvdfab does that, but is not working because of the CSS. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'll appreciate any help.
Thanks,

I tried that, but I saw that decryptor is only good for DVD-5. I saw not way of spliting the files for 2 disk burning.

Is there any other way out there?

Thank you,

the limit on DVDDecrypter you mention is i believe from a burning point of view. i have used decrypter to rip a dvd9 disc no probs. i then use DVDshrink to re-author then Nero to burn.....piece of cake...:)

So I need to be using the file mode right? not isof or ifo. Adn then how do I split the files with Shrick.

I used decrytor before in file mode and then tried to split it with dvdfab but I had the same error.

Using shrink can I keep the menus? because I knwo that if you are doing it from the dvd directly you can't splip on 2 disk and keep the menus.

Thanks guys.

Why not use different software to put all of it to 1 DVD-R (if we're not talking about too much in Gb's)

Well the full movie is 8.5 gigs, and I don't want to get a crapy picture if I put it on one dvd-r.

Compresion will be around 46% with CloneDVD. It's going to mess up the picture, that's keeping all menus.
