I have posted another thread and it seems I may be going in the wrong direction. I flash the drive using the cmd promt from ixtreme 1.4 it says everything has finished fine..Then I check the firmware using the toolbox classic dump firmware and it is showing the original bin...These means its not flashing the hacked bin right? Ok if so then why isnt it? It says everything is done 100complete with no errors

I just used firmware toolbox and used the hitachi 79 way to flash it and it now shows hacked firmware when I use direct drive dump but still wont play backups....so I guess it need pot calibration? Ive never ran into something as aggervating as the hitachi v59

Im just lost and aggervated....I need to know what is the difference between the 59 and 59b fix? I finally got it to flash with the 59 12x using firmware toolbox but still no reading backups...The drive is 59dj The cmd promt wouldnt even write it to the drive...Do I need the 59b fix...Grr HELP..lol
