can someone please help me. I just got through installing the homebrew channel today. and whenever i clicked the channel there was nothing on the page. all i see is the backround with blue bubbles.
I just got my wii 2 days ago and i installed the update =/ i really hope that isn't a problem, since i see a few places saying that it was but that was like several months back. but im totally stumped as to how to get the default applications and adding other applications so that i actually have a menu on the Homebrew channel lol.

please help someone.

did you put any apps on the sd card?

fudpucker is right. You only get a blank menu on the HBC when you don't have your SD card set up correctly or it doesn't detect a card at all. The Homebrew channel only lists what it finds on the SD card. There is nothing "inside" of the HBC itself. Its just a tool for loading homebrew that it finds on the SD.

ah okay. i thought i got a few programs on the root menu i put something called wiigator...
but other than that all i really did was get the twilight hack 1.2 i think it's called and installed homebrew 1.0.1
so say if i wanted to have a few games and be able to have some of the wads and play backup disks how exactly would i do that?

okay i redid it and now it's showing adding failed -2011 at the end now when i go the beginning of the screen after it resets from there it doesn't show homebrew. god this sucks im like getting ready to give up.

im a newb on the wii mods my self but i followed one guide here on afterdawn and have done a bunch of wii's for people i work with in the last few weeks.
here is the guide i used, if you follow it to the letter you can do it.
after i downloaded the files it took about 10 min. to mod the wii.
