sorry to repeat myself from the earlier thread but my starview box still off, have been waiting nearly 3 hours on my keygen for the codes to enter manually as not yet updated my firmware but no updates so far . Is this simply another roll by n*l and i need to be patient or is it something with my box as i dont know if others gone down too, answers appreciated

NTL and Cable and Wireless both rolled today at approx 10.45. It looks as if they have disabled the auto update again also like they did in November.
Not rolled in Telewest areas yet though! (how do you do a happy smiley lol?)

All updated boxes will come back just turn them off and on from the back switch making sure key emu is on, its not the same sort of Rom change that was carried out last November. Non updated boxes will have to look for codes elsewhere as usual.

OK mine just updated itself but it took a long time... longer than usual and had the ol' pooper going there for a minute :-/

hi,
I am quite new to this and will try to xplain the prob i guess everyone is havin.. but of course they are all more expert than myself
anyways have a dreambox 500c with N*L and i live in Stevenage, Herts. My box went down 18th Feb around 11am (as everyone else' as well i guess). Now till this date i use to find a keys from internet, upload it via FileZilla and it use to start working. I dont know but on this occassion it is not working.
However, I dont know what Auto Updater is? :(.. if I go to VAR -> Key -> I have a registry called Autoupdater. Is this what updates the key automatically? I have Evocamd 2.12, I dont know what that is ?Should I live the tele and dreambox on for it to auto update? how long it may take?
Pleas ehelp this dumbo if anyone can?

hi - i appreciate your prompt reply. I dont know what i did, but after good few hrs of overtime, plenty of goole search, i have my box back on (fingers x)
i am still confuse with all tht CCCam stuff etc etc.. i use Digital Kaos image 1.2 or something.. hope this time it will last for good few months... i dont know if forum allows me to post a keys.. if anyone needs tht plz email me and i will reply with the keys tht surely working on my box

Fair play yes its a nice image indeed. One thing to note here is yes as suspected you cannot post keys but you cannot post your email address either for you own sake I would edit it out.
Regards CCcam I would definitely put that aside for another day ;)
