Burning coasters please help

I have a modded xbox360 flashed with ixtreme 1.5 firmware. I read my originals using xbox backup creator and check stealth with xdvdmulleter. Everything is fine, then I burn with imgburn at 2.4x speed and booktype to dvd-rom. I am using Verbatim dvd+r dl 2.4x discs made in singapore. The problem is Im getting a 50% success rate and half of them are coasters. If I reburn the same image off my computer again it usually turns out fine. When I burn movies with my burner they always turn out fine. I dont know what is goin on. Am I burning them 2 fast? Should I use a different burning program? Please help.

Burning at 2.4X is not too fast. Are you using the computer while burning? That may cause some problems.

Don't use Mulleter anymore try ABGX. Tutorial on how to check games using ABGX is in my signature.

Maybe you will need a new DVD writer. Any new DVD+R DL writer will do.

No Im not touching the computer at all while burning. I think it may be the dvd burner. I don't know what else it could be. What brand do you recommend. Right now I have a samsung burner.

I had a IDE Lite-ON drive that I was using and several occasions it would spit out a coaster. Frustated, I got on NewEgg and bought a Samsung SH-S223Q [SATA] (now running SB-03 firmware) and I have burned over 50 games and not 1 coaster. I spent 25$ on this drive and I am glad I did. I'm also using Vebatim-Singapore.

Can you post a log from imgburn when you get a coaster?
