Hi All, I'm a complete noob to wii modding so please bear with me.
I have a Wii 3.4e with a wiikey, which was installed about 6 months ago, I have no idea what version it is but it has been working up fine with all games
Saturday just gone, my 4yr old son was playing Wii Fit (Orignal Disc), got bored and asked me to change it, about 10 mins later he called me to say the wii wasnt working. I found the wii switched off with a disc half loaded into the disc drive.
Since then the wii will not read any discs either orignal or back ups. The disc channel just comes up with the unreadable disc error.
Stranger still I can get wii fit to load fully by using the wii fit channel and inserting the disc.
I'm guessing that the laser has been scratched or damaged but as i said its a guess.

Before I try and buy a new disc drive anybody got any other suggestions/experiences of the same
